The role:
The purpose of this position is to lead, coordinate and participate in clinical review through data review and patient feedback. This role has a high level of interest in clinical governance and patient safety. You will oversee the management of the RiskMan system and ensure all entries are consistent, reviewed and relevant prior to posting. You will take a lead in patient feedback and invested-gates complaints and drafts responses. You will collates reports on incident management and patient feedback for relevant committees.
This role works with the Quality Safety and Risk Manager to make recommendations from incident trends and feedback to strengthen clinical excellence and best practice. The role ensures evidenced based and accurate information is used to guide clinical practice.

Your skills and experience:
Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members
Ability to work flexibly within SVPHS
Ability to provide clinical practice and care consistent with the mission and philosophy of the facility
Ability to plan and coordinate patient / visitor/ family care effectively, maintain patient advocacy and utilise patient management systems
Ability to participate in and support education activities and to contribute to the development of self and other team members
Have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
Ability to contribute towards effective risk management within the facility particularly in compliance with Work Health & Safety legislation
Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices
Ability to participate in quality improvement activities
Remuneration:
St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney Nurses' EA -Clinical Nurse Specialist based on experience level and relevant qualifications + salary packaging + superannuation, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
