Quality and Safety Manager - Services
We are searching for a Quality and Safety Manager - Services at our Melbourne Airport facility.
Snapshot of the role:
- Responsible person 145/21 Quality and Safety within approved EASA/FAA/CASA/DASR MOE’s
- Monitor and manage change management plan and risks including escalation of concerns for the site
- Ensure compliance with local and foreign regulatory approvals
- Promote safety and security of people and aircraft components as a first priority;
- Evaluate and execute WH&S system compliance, conformance and continual improvement
- Work with EHS Business Partner to ensure consistent approach to safety across the whole QS business
- Determine and implement appropriate site related safety initiatives and work towards zero harm
- Oversee all elements of risk assessments processes, hazards and near hits.
- Collect, analyse, disseminate key reporting metrics, identifying trends and focusing on corrective actions
- Ensure incidents are reported and investigated. Followed up with lessons learnt communicated, training developed and deployed and policies updated as required
- Develop well-being initiatives aligned with human factors
- Provide oversight and leadership of Quality Assurance with regulatory approvals the Company/Client’s standards;
- Relevant tertiaryqualifications in aeronautical, avionics or similar and extensive experience in Quality, Safety,Risk and Audit in the airline industry
- A minimum of 5years experience
- Demonstratedunderstanding of International and Australian Civil Aviation Regulationsgoverning airline operations
- Audit experience andrelevant qualifications
- Experience and/or qualifications in project managementand lean processes
