Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. is offering a position for an experienced individual to fill the role of a QA, WHS Officer and join the Corporate Service team in the Adelaide CBD. The QA, WHS Officer will report to the Executive Manager Corporate Services and Projects and is responsible for overseeing the CBS Inc. Quality Management System, Work Health and Safety processes, and projects as directed.

About the Role:
- Maintaining CBS Inc. accreditation to the National Standards Disability Services (NSDS), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), ISO 27001: Information Management Security System, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), and any other relevant standards.
- Ensuring that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Work, Health & Safety Management System (WHSMS) are established, implemented, and maintained.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing organisational practices and procedures, staying abreast of industry best practices, identifying procedural gaps, and recommending remedial actions and/ or continuous improvement actions and plans.
- Liaising with the external assessment bodies on all matters related to the external accreditation process to ensure their involvement is efficient, effective, and professional at all times.
- Oversee the development, improvement and maintenance of CBS Inc. policies and procedures within the scope of the QMS and ISMS.
- Review the performance of the QMS, using data, at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness including assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the QMS, in conjunction with key staff. Lead and direct the management review process.
- Establish and lead the WHS Committee and any required subcommittees (i.e., Behaviour subcommittee, MHFA subcommittee).
- Oversee the Incident Management System to ensure incident reporting and investigation is undertaken in compliance with relevant WHS legislation and accreditation standards.
Position Requirements:
- Relevant NDIS / DHS checks and clearances in accordance with the role requirements (or willingness to obtain)
- Maintain a valid driver’s licence.
- Child Safe Environments – Through Their Eyes training.
- Mental Health First Aid.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Knowledge of and experience with Quality Assurance systems including ISO 27001, NDIS, and NSDS.
