Global Higher Education (GHE) is an Institute of Higher Education focused on the delivery of quality higher education relevant to students and employers. GHE is the trading name of IIBIT AHE Pty Ltd. which is a 100% owned subsidiary of InfoTech Professionals Pty Ltd (ITP) trading as IIBIT (International Institute of Business and Information Technology) in Sydney and Adelaide.
The Compliance and Quality Officer reports to the CEO and is responsible for maintain the Compliance and Quality framework which underpins the overall quality and rigour of GHE’s academic activities.
In discharging this responsibility, the Compliance and Quality Officer will provide advice and support to the CEO, the Academic Board and the Board of Directors as required.
The Compliance and Quality Officer contributes to the strategic leadership of the Academic Team and as a member of the GHE leadership team, supports the strategic direction of the Institute.
The Role:- To lead the implementation and maintenance of GHE’s Quality Framework.
- To provide expertise on educational excellence including quality and compliance processes with regard to e.g., TEQSA, CRICOS, ESOS.
- To maintain the suite of GHE’s Policies and Procedures as required over time.
- Support and coordinate internal and external quality and regulatory audits.
- Support the development of strategies, policies, and procedures to build organisational capability in academic quality and governance requirements.
- Ensure operational activities are appropriately monitored and evaluated according to GHE’s overarching Policies and Procedures.
- Tertiary qualifications in management or academic quality, or extensive experience in a related discipline
- Proven recent experience in academic quality as well as regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Demonstrated experience and success in working with a range of stakeholders in a highly collegiate manner.
- Proven recent experience in working within a framework of institutional policies and procedures and cognizant of the Higher Education regulatory environment.
- Resilience and strategic thinking will favorably position you for success in this role.
- Proven organisational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with a bias for action.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder skills to build commitment to a shared vision.
- Excellent attention to detail, written, oral communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised and motivated with experience in coordinating reviews/audits.
- A strong record of professional integrity, ethical conduct, and resilience.
- Proven capacity to foster constructive debate and consensus, to engage enthusiasm and earn the respect of colleagues, influencing, the appropriate outcomes for the Institute.

- Work with the CEO and an experienced team on the Board of Directors, Academic Board and on the Course Development and Advisory Board.
