Quality Assurance Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in monitoring our manufacturing processes to ensure the safety and quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor manufacturing techniques and processes to ensure the safety and standard quality of our food products
2. Collect and file completed paperwork accurately.
3. Confirm production documents and make necessary corrections as needed.
4. Provide quality control support to the production team.
5. Conduct daily pre and post-operational quality inspections.
6. Conduct GMP inspections, identify root causes of issues, and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
7. Perform probe and scale calibration to maintain accuracy in measurements.
8. Conduct sensory testing of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
9. Verify cleaning procedures and identify trends for improvement.
10. Assist the QA Manager in investigating food safety and quality issues.
11. Perform any other QA duties as required by the QA Manager.

To thrive in this role:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food industry.
2. Strong knowledge of food safety principles, HACCP, and GMP.
3. Excellent team player with good people management skills.
4. Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
6. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
