Quality Assurance Co-Ordinator

About the role:-

1. Encouraging the importance of Quality Assurance and Food Safety throughout the organisation.
2. Ensuring QA principles are embedded through the entire manufacturing process from beginning to end.
3. Ensuring QA tasks and records are completed accurately and signed off within the appropriate time frame.
4. Report Food safety hazard.
5. Predominately working in the production area.
6. Provide onsite support to QA Manager and the operations team.
7. Direct and train production staff regarding quality and compliance.
8. Ensure quality control procedures are achieved.
9. Play a key role in audits of food safety and quality systems.
10. Development and verification of plant hygiene manual, sanitation standard and operating procedures.
11. Establishing and building relationships with suppliers and customers.
12. GMP & HACCP monitoring of factory, warehouses and ffices.
13. Conduct and production checks within the factory.
14. Co-ordinate pest control on site.
15. Participate in the internal auditing programme,
16. Quality training of staff and production employees.

To be successful in the role you will need:

1. Excellent attention to detail.

2. A demonstrated work history of your achievements in QA, preferaby in food      production.

3. Strong interpersonal and good communication skills.

4. Proficiency with all Microsoft applications

5 The ability and stamina to work under pressure and a fast paced workplace.

6. Able to commence work at 5.00am and or afternoon shift at 2.00pm (on shift     basis as required).

7. Able to work Saturdays and overtime if required.

8. HACCP certificate essential.
