About the Role
In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management systems to uphold the integrity of our products. Lumineye is well known for being Australia’s highest quality bespoke manufacturer for leading cosmetic and nail polish brands throughout Australasia. Lumineye is the only nail polish manufacturer in ANZ and has a portfolio of some of the worlds leading brands in nail care products. The last 18 months has seen several strategic improvements within the business, and we have never been in better shape to move to that next level of growth. Lumineye is certified to ISO22716, GMP and SEDEX and an Accredited Halal manufacturer.

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of quality control and maintain and improve the existing certification programs in place, including OHS. You will report to a senior executive and will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Additionally, you will lead investigations into quality incidents and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and safety. You will conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement. You will work with external auditing bodies and many customer quality control departments. In a nutshell, if it is QA it is yours!
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the cosmetics or food manufacturing market industries. Skills & Experience
- Prior experience within the cosmetics or food manufacturing industries (at least 2 - 3 years) to complement and to offset some of the technical knowledge that is required
- Strong emotional intelligence, be an innovative thinker that embraces culture and someone that will be able to lead in a hands-on and collaborative style, promoting good behaviours
- Someone with ISO, HACCP / GMP and customer standard experience. You will lead the third party audit(s) program for the site and maintain the certifications for the site and execute the site quality management system
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to all customers both internally and externally
- Prior knowledge or management of management systems, ISO22716, ISO 9000, HACCP, GMP, SEDEX and Internal Auditor qualifications would be highly advantageous
