We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality & Compliance Manager to be based in our Truganina office. This role will be responsible for the network monitoring, reporting, investigation, and promotion of quality and safe work encompassing all transport operations as well as reputational risk.
This role is best suited to someone who possesses strong analytical skills, coupled with an enquiring mind and a determined focus on quality, safety, compliance and reputational risk. The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Working with the Operations and Driver Training teams to develop and promote awareness of Transport safety policies, processes, standards practice and resources.
- Supports delivery to the Transport KPI’s, working directly with Customer and Inhouse standards and resources to manage service to targets.
- Conduct regular audits within the audit cycle including risk and compliance management coupled with detailed audit reports, including findings and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Active maintenance of Incident Management and training and induction compliance system, including administration, reporting, investigation, and consultation with stakeholders.
- Monitoring safe work practices throughout the operation in compliance with company policy, safety standards, legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all team members by ensuring compliance with all WHS safety programs and building a commitment culture throughout the team.
- Monitor and develop within the company, a system of excellence in relation to reputational risk.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will bring the following experience and skills to the role:
- Experience in the transport industry is highly preferred with high exposure in CoR, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Safety, Risk, and Audit.
- Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle regulations, standards, practices, and policies including legislative changes and your ability to communicate those to peers and stakeholders is critical.
- Highly resourceful and autonomous
- Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to engage in an inclusive culture.
- Ability to effectively create and communicate safety and compliance procedures.
- Demonstrable accreditations / qualifications in WHS, Compliance, 5S, CI equivalent and ICAM are highly desired though relevant experience and exposure will be highly regarded.
