We are in the business of helping people, and as an RTO Quality and Compliance Manager, you will be part of the Access Skills Training (AST) team that provides commercial Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Auspicing Services and courses (Certificate I to Certificate III) to more than 70 secondary schools and 2000 students across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring Quality and Compliance requirements meet regulatory requirements with ASQA and state regulators for WISE Employment’s RTO.

- Implement and monitor Quality and Compliance within the VET Quality Framework and ESOS legislative framework across service delivery and support operations;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the VET sector and regulatory requirements.
- Builds internal and external stakeholder relationships, focusing on high-quality, contemporary, and leading service delivery, including industry validation and liaison with the regulator and other government departments.
- Responsible for accurate and timely management and review of reporting with regulatory and contractual requirements, including lodging applications with ASQAnet
- Maintain and implement continuous improvement for RTO processes
- Management of the Compliance Unit team, with oversight of RTO compliance, including administration and trainer roles;
- Manage the RTO’s scope of registration.
- Ensure adherence to training package rules and registered training organisational standards
- Advise training staff on compliance issues and assist with program and resource development for training programs.
- Contribute to improved business processes to ensure continuous improvement across all training product offerings;
- Identify and mitigate areas of compliance risk;
- Develop, review and maintain all relevant policies and procedures with compliance to legal and Compliance regulations as required

Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated relevant management experience in an RTO or a relatable educational environment;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher;
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and demonstrating effective leadership;
- Focus on continual improvement and innovation in the development of processes;
- Ability to be hands-on in the detail as well as take a broad view on occasions;
- Solutions-driven ability to identify and problem-solve an issue to ensure compliance;
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office, Student Management Systems (SMS) and Learner Management Systems (LMS);
- Demonstrated organisational, project management and administrative skills, including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
