AddressWe at Chandler Macleod are seeking an experienced, Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable. This role is full-time and 100% on-site. Additionally, our client is in the process of changing their systems, we’re looking for someone who is open to learning the new system and providing support during its implementation, although prior implementation experience is not required, Key Responsibilities:
- Post bank transactions and reconcile accounts regularly.
- Process stock invoices promptly.
- Manage other invoices and ensure timely posting.
- Monitor credit control.
- Prepare reports for the commercial manager.
- Collaborate with external accountants as needed.
- Meet invoice and cash deadlines set by the external accountant.
- Create biweekly payment proposals for approval by the Group Financial Accountant.
- Accounts Receivable
- Collect debts and send reminders.
- Process and reconcile customer receipts.
- Maintain accurate customer records.
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
- Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices.
- Schedule vendor payments.
- Address vendor inquiries.
- Track payments and expenditures.
- Maintain vendor records.
- Processing and reconcile bank transactions.
- Ad hoc tasks and reports as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience in credit control is essential.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience on all of the above key responsibilities
- Open to learning new systems.
- Ability to work well in a small team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suites
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to multi-task
