Form of workThe Opportunity:
CSL Behring is a world class manufacturer of blood plasma proteins which are used to treat human immune deficiencies and severe autoimmune diseases. We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join the QC Chemistry group.
Reporting to the QC Team Leader, the QC Analyst is responsible for completing scheduled routine analytical tasks efficiently and safely in accordance with approved test procedures, standard operating procedures and the code of Good Manufacturing Practice, as well as participating in support activities required to ensure the ongoing operation of Broadmeadows QC.
Ensuring the completion all the tasks in a timely manner and satisfies the Quality requirements. The laboratory tasks and responsibility of the QC analyst is assigned by the department’s QC Team Leaders or QC Scientist.
The role:
• Under general supervision, carries out production-related tests and inspections to control quality.
• Tests or analyses components, raw materials, and products to monitor quality following established methods.
• Properly documents test results in appropriate records and Laboratory Information Management Systems.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulatory guidelines.
Skills and Experience:
• Associate's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent vocational or technical training
• 3+ years' related pharmaceutical experience in a regulated Laboratory environment
• Knowledge of cGMP standards preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QC systems
