Quality Control & Weighbridge Officer required to join our client, who are an Australian owned manufacturer of high quality animal feeds and supplements. For over 30 years, they have been supplying champions including Melbourne Cup winners and Olympic medallists across Australia, as well as globally. The position requirements include but are not limited to:

• Sampling & testing of raw materials, empty bags & labels.
• Maintaining retention samples of raw materials
• Cleanliness of inside and outside the weighbridge office.
• Ensure all raw material deliveries are entered into Pronto
• Perform daily weighbridge and scale checks
• Strictly following all required safety and security procedures

To be considered for this role you should ideally possess the following:

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Officer in an industrial manufacturing environment
• A current forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential.  If you do not have one, must be willing to obtain if successful
• PRONTO experience is highly desirable
• A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to detail
• Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

Hours & Rates
 
Day shift, 6am-2pm
$35 per hour + OT + super
