Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a Quality Controller to join and support the quality control of their Grading Floor. Working with the Quality Coordinator, your role will encompass all areas of quality control on the grading floor and monitoring of the production quality systems and processes. With the aim of achieving quality assurance operational objectives, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the identification of production quality and quality control issues;
- Assisting in continuously improving all quality management processes;
- Completion of all necessary paperwork and compliance materials to meet ongoing regulatory requirements;
- Assisting with coordination of all Audits (both internal and external);
- Preparation of reports for management;
- Assisting the Quality Coordinator and other appropriate staff in maintaining a clean and tidy environment;
- When required, assisting in resolving customer and supplier complaints and queries; and
- Participating in training, contributing to and endorsing agreed outcomes in order to continuously improve levels of skill and competency.
To be successful in the role, you will have a bachelor's degree qualification (or working towards one) relating to agriculture and/or animal production and health. You’ll have good levels of attention to detail and want to progress your career in QA and food production environments.
