Aboriginal Health Division is looking for a talented Quality Coordinator to join their Aboriginal Health Team!
About the Role:
- The Quality Safety and Risk System facilitator, Aboriginal Health, uses clinical knowledge, expertise and leadership skills to:
- Facilitate and lead the improvement of systems and processes which contribute to Aboriginal patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Support innovative approaches to the delivery of safe healthcare through quality improvement activities and projects.
- Work with Divisions/Streams, Services and professional group to encourage and support the implementation of programs that improve Aboriginal patient safety, quality and risk management of clinical care across the SALHN.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a SALHN clinical governance reporting framework against relevant National Accreditation standards and Aboriginal Health Outcomes.

About you:
- Demonstrated experience in management and leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and/or quality improvement activities.
- Experience working with Aboriginal people and Aboriginal communities.
- Proven well developed communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal).
- Proven sound skills in leadership and project and change management.
