About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer, to promote a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility; we are passionate about getting the right products to our customer.

Core responsibilities include developing suitable automation test coverage and monitoring the execution of scenarios and test cases that verify that solutions meet defined business requirements in accordance with the Quality Framework. Alongside educating delivery teams on Quality by coaching others on the value of testing skills.

Providing technical expertise to the analysis, design, development, implementation, administration, maintenance and support of information systems and services to meet the current and future needs of RACQ will be second nature to you. 

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Provide quality assurance of automated test execution of required scope encompassing functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
  • Perform peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Regular reporting of automated test executions.
  • Ensure solutions meet requirements and deliverables as specified.
  • Collaborate with functional testers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and functionality for newly developed features.
About You
  • Must have minimum three years of experience in automation testing using an Object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience working in a structured testing environment, including knowledge and application of SDLC and Agile principles.
  • Demonstrated test automation capability in managing test coverages by executing and maintaining automated test suites.
  • Demonstrated problem solving capability in analysing and triaging failures.
  • Sound negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and communicate effectively with technical teams to ensure that any problems associated with testing/environments or data are promptly resolved.
  • Ability to manage business stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI would be an advantage.
