About the role:
Join us as the guardian of quality standards! In this pivotal role, you'll ensure our compliance with ISO 9001/14001 & AS/NZS 4801, oversee part compliance, drive our Quality Management system, and lead efforts to enhance processes and services. Collaborate with suppliers, conduct root cause analysis, and inspire excellence across all sites. Your impact will resonate in every product and service we deliver.
This role will work across our two Brisbane sites, East Coast Bullbars (Clontarf) and CruiseMaster (Geebung).
Key Responsibilities:
- Management representative for ISO 9001/ 14001 & AS/NZS 4801, ensuring the company meets ISO and AS obligations.
- Implement and coordinate ongoing requirements for AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015 Quality.
- Develop and maintain a central Quality function through auditing product, process, and services.
- Define and measure quality benchmarks for both goods inwards and internal operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis (8D) on product failures and process/service non-conformance.
- Work with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and further improved.
- Conduct internal & coordinate external calibration as per calibration schedule.
- Ensure quality of ECB and CM components manufactured across all sites.
About You:
- Relevant Engineering Qualification (Mandatory).
- Proven experience in manufacturing industry (desired).
- Competent knowledge of:
- QA best practices (mandatory)
- ISO9001 (Mandatory)
- Continue improvement practices & lean manufacturing (mandatory)
- Internal and External Auditing (Mandatory)
- Excellent analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant experience in assembly & fabrication Quality control (mandatory).
