Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH), St LeonardsWhat you'll be doingThe Quality Manager will provide expert support and advice to the RNSH executive team and staff on clinical quality and improvement. The incumbent will also provide leadership across RNSHl to ensure that clinical effectiveness, patient safety and quality improvement are embedded at a health service level to support the facility to provide high quality, cost effective safe patient care. Actively promotes, support and embeds a culture of quality care and improvement, high professional standards and a positive open reporting culture.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in an acute health setting.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with all staff groups.
- Demonstrated understanding of Integrated Clinical Governance (Quality, Quality Improvement and Complaint management) and experience in participating in SAER investigations.
- High level experience in data collection and analysis and the use of incident management and quality systems and Software to support role.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in the organisation wide preparation for Accreditation.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines and organise high volumes of workload.
