A full-time opportunity for an experienced Quality Support Engineer has arisen to join the close-knit, inclusive team and enhance product reliability and performance.

The Position

Reporting to the Quality Manager, your duties will include:

• Develop and implement a quality control plan to ensure consistency and reliability of products
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and non-conformances
• Ensure batches of incoming parts are processed in accordance with IQC (Incoming Quality Control), releasing parts to the warehouse only after Quality Manager approval
• Develop and inspect new parts in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Conduct supplier assessment and audits, as well as support quality management initiatives
• Identify areas for improvement through regular analysis of quality data and trends
• Train and support team members regarding quality management practices
• Aid with investigating warranty claims and relaying information to key suppliers
• Perform outgoing quality inspections of finished goods
• Test and approve Return Material Authorisation goods
  

The Candidate

For this position, prior experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment is required, as well as the following:

• Qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, and/or Quality disciplines
• Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001 knowledge is highly desirable
• Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement in quality auditing management
• Be proactive in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and have well-developed interpersonal skills
