An exciting opportunity for an Aged Care employee that has experience in quality and auditing support at a growing Aged Care Provider in North-Eastern Adelaide.

Currently we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Quality Support Officer with a passion for people and an eye for detail. Reporting to the Clinical Quality Manager, this position offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Clinical team and Coordinators to ensure that clinical governance is maintained at all levels and in all areas of the organisation. Additionally, you will ensure that all quality management systems are developed and maintained, using a risk management approach, to enable effective and efficient operations. Moreover, you will support the service excellence culture, Vision, and Mission of Warrina Homes.
Key responsibilities of this role:
- Support in coordination of the delivery of clinical governance and quality management systems.
- Support in reporting, tracking, and developing overall clinical governance and quality management systems.
- Working across all Residential Care Facilities under the leadership of Clinical Quality Manager and assisting in completing all clinical quality audits and practices reflect a person-centred approach where dignity and choice are evident.
- Identify and participate in opportunities for improvement in the delivery of service to the Residents and contribute to the Continuous Improvement process.
- To demonstrate responsible and thoughtful use of all resources, being mindful of the costs of consumable items and the impact of their use on the environment.
We are looking for someone to:
- Support and assist the Clinical Quality Manager with the delivery of clinical governance and maintaining quality management systems.
- As part of the Clinical Quality team, complete audits as per the delegation of Clinical Quality Manager.
- Complete feedback register and ensure positive communication is maintained with residents, families, and corresponding departments.
- Take responsibility for registering and updating Continuous Improvement Plans.
- Work with the Clinical Quality Manager and relevant Leadership Team members to close Complaints or Continuous improvement initiatives.
- Apply their Aged Care experience to deliver education and support to Care Staff.
- Coordinate AN-ACC improvisation sessions in collaboration with the Clinical Quality Manager and General Managers.
- Complete audits and summarise reports using their exceptional computer skills.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Current Flu Vaccination
- COVID-19 Vaccinations including Booster is recommended.
- Current Aged Care specific Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).
