ELISA Systems is a manufacturing facility based in South East Queensland. Our primary business focus is the production of Food Allergen Test Kits for use in the Food Safety industry. We operate under ISO 9001:2015

ELISA Systems has been operating for over twenty five years.

A vacancy exists for an experienced Quality Systems Manager/Scientist. 

The position is Full-Time Monday to Friday, consisting of a 76 hour fortnight and is available for an immediate start for the successful applicant.

To be successful in this role, you will have a flexible approach to your work, with the ability to work well both independently (unsupervised) and in a small team environment. You should have a

demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise your workload and work methodically and efficiently to complete tasks on schedule.

The day-to-day aspect of the role will include a variety of tasks including :

• Responsibility for Quality Systems
• QC of Devices, Kits and Reagents
• Production of Reagents and Components as required on various special projects
• Familiarisation with Production processes and support when required

• A suitable Degree in the Biological Sciences field from a recognized Tertiary Institution.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of Quality Control/Management in an analytical environment and/or production facility.
• Demonstrated practical experience in a laboratory environment.
• Be able to follow documented procedures and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with a Quality Systems laboratory environment and the ability to work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Good computer literacy, including skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a small team environment.
• Experience in Immunoassay production and development.
