Van Diemen Quarries is a family-run business that produce premium quarry products to our clients throughout a network of quarries, strategically located throughout Tasmania.
We are currently seeking a suitably skilled and highly organised person to join our team in the capacity of Quarries Administrator based at our Mt Oriel, Breadalbane quarry site.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily administrative tasks associated with quarry operations, including the reconciliation & auditing of transactions processed through our weighbridge software, the collating/entry of product information and data, phone & email management, and face to face enquiries from drivers/visitors.
This is a permanent full-time role. Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm.
Essential criteria
- Previous experience within an administration role
- Excellent customer service
- Efficient time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Sound literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Process driven style with strong problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Current driver’s license
