COMPANY DESCRPTION:

HA TECH is an Australian based Biotechnology company dedicated to research and development of innovative Diagnostic Products, Biopharmaceuticals and Medical Technologies. The company has a diagnostic manufacturing facility at Castle Hill, Sydney, Australia. Manufacturing capacity of 40 million RT PCR tests/month and capacity of 10 million Antigen tests/month. Winner of 2022 NSW Premier Export Award.  We are looking for multiple position for Graduate to Senior Research Scientists to join our Research & Development team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan, conduct research and carry out experimental work, designing and validating new diagnostic products for infectious diseases, Biotherapeutic product development and other projects assigned by the company.
2. Supervise graduate scientists and project team members/projects as directed by the Company.
3. Communicate activities and assist other R&D team members, Production, QA, regulatory and other groups within HA TECH, collaborating organizations, and regulatory bodies as required.
4. Record, analyze and report results & SOP development, technical document preparation and participate in regulatory submission and relevant external audits.
5. General laboratory responsibilities including Equipment maintenance.
6. Perform all operational activities required for the running of the division. 
7. Delivery of all agreed projects to stated quality.  
8. All scientific work executed to agreed corporate standards.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / ABOUT YOU

• Qualified candidates must have an Honours or Master’s degree in the field of Microbiology /Bioengineering / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry /Biomedical/Bioprocess Engineering or a Biological Science field.
• Experience with Bioinformatics is preferable.
• Experience working in a PC2 or PC1 lab preferable
• Experience with qPCR preferable
• Fast learner and ability to lead junior research scientist
• Ability to carry out experimental work independently and troubleshoot
• Minimum 8 years works experiences for Senior Level, (Accept Graduates or Junior Scientist with less experiences)
