About the role:

Reporting to: RD&A Director - ANZ
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Savoury Taste Systems (Snack, Meat and SSD) RDA for ANZ, driving and leading with Taste Solutions and supporting the growth of the Taste Systems across ANZ. To establish Kerry Technical competence as a partner of choice for all key customers in the region.
- Apply highly developed specialist knowledge and skills in Research, Development and Application across Technologies. In addition, supporting our Country Sales Teams and Direct Customers with appropriate solutions for their unique challenges. This involves feasibility studies, development and scale up/production trials.
- Building the Savoury Taste Toolbox customized for the ANZ Market, leveraging existing Savoury Taste Toolbox and adopting and creating localized new taste systems leveraging APMEA Creation Taste Team building blocks. Helping build a portfolio of Savoury Taste.
- Collaborate with all stake holders to ensure product development and solution delivery as per the requirements, technical and commercial specifications of Sales Managers / Country Teams / Customers of Kerry.
- Enhance RDA Savoury Taste Systems knowledge in the Australian Market by sharing and bringing the best of Kerry’s global technology collection to customers in Australia. Enhance the skill levels of our Application Team in Australia (Brisbane) by sharing knowledge and specialised expertise.
- Responsible for design, implementation and driving of the Kerry Innovation and Community Engagement Plan that seeks to drive Innovation through collaboration with local industry bodies (AIFST, FIAL, Aust Bev Association) and mentoring emerging talent through Tertiary bodies.
- Develop strong technical and commercials relationship at all levels with Key Customers to grow the business.
Technical Competency
- Lead the RDA ANZ snack and dry culinary taste team and advance the technical competence and ensuring flawless execution on customer projects. Collaborate with SAP Technical EUM Community.
- Lead the taste toolbox and training plans to advance the technical competence of the ANZ RDA Team and collaborate with the APMEA Taste Team.
- Training and developing ANZ RDA Team Technical in Snack, Meat Taste, SSD (Soups, Sauces, and Dressings) Taste and plant-based teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Technology or similar field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D in the Food Ingredients, Flavour House or similar industry.
- Strong technical competence in Savoury Taste and Application or Snack and Culinary.
- Genuine passion for the food and beverage industry.
