Argyle Housing is a community-managed, not-for-profit, housing organisation. Our main objective is to provide and manage secure, sustainable housing for people on low to moderate incomes who would otherwise struggle to find accommodation and for disadvantaged people who need support in order to maintain independent living. As a community housing service provider we are responsive to local needs and are committed to building sustainable communities in areas of need. Housing services include tenancy management and maintenance.

We have a portfolio of over 2,700 properties and offices in Campbelltown, Bowral, Young, Yass, Goulburn, Griffith, Wagga Wagga, Queanbeyan and Canberra.
Primary Purpose
This position is a Part-Time role, 21 hours per week, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
As Reception & Admin Support your role is to operate as the primary and first point of contact with the community and clients and provide a range of administrative support functions to their respective team.
This role will be responsible for:
- Carry out general administrative tasks that support the team and organizational needs
- Respond to incoming phone, email or in person queries in a timely and professional manner to ensure the most efficient and effective outcome and seek feedback regarding our service
- Assist with the preparation of reports and data
- Work within relevant systems to manage all general administrative and clerical services, which may include filing systems, raising call logs and work orders, data entry, handling and receipt of monies, maintaining office supplies, banking and maintaining petty cash
- All other reasonable tasks as directed by manager
Selection Criteria/Essential Skills - To ensure success in this position, you must have:
- Qualification in business administration (desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced level of computer skills with experience in MS Office
- Ability to develop and produce high quality reports within designated time frames
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service principles
