Our team in Rockingham are on the lookout for a permanent, Full Time Medical Receptionist to join them in providing the best service and care to our patients.

As a Medical Receptionist you will be providing face to face support to patients, acting as the first point of contact to ensure a smooth experience for their appointments. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the booking of appointments, records management and working with referring medical practitioners.

This is a Full Time position working 38 hours per week.

You will be responsible for all reception duties including:

• Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk, taking, and directing incoming telephone calls
• Make radiology exam bookings
• General Clerical Duties
• Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills
• Liaising with other receptionist, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a courteous manner
• Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous Radiology Medical Reception experience highly regarded
• Previous administration and/or medical experience highly regarded
• Flexible with shift times between 7.45 - 6pm
• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Previous experience working well under pressure
