Technicalities provides high level IT support and consulting services clients within the Melbourne metropolitan area.
We have a full-time position available for a Receptionist with a focus on providing outstanding customer service to our customers.
The salary is negotiable and is dependent upon the experience and skills this person will bring to the position.
The Role:
One of the most important roles in our company is the answering of incoming calls and managing the resulting workflow through our office. This is a busy role, where multitasking and liaising between clients, staff and third parties will be required.
Responsibilities are varied and include:
- Answering calls and engaging with customers to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient problem resolution;
- Creating support tickets that contain accurate information about the issue at hand to assist our Help-desk with an efficient resolution;
- Managing the scheduling of appointments for our team of Engineers
- Coordination of resources and stock for onsite appointments;
- Process incoming stock and general stock management;
- Working with other staff to ensure smooth running of daily activities;
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
The Candidate:
We are seeking a highly organised person who can prioritise requests and work well both within a team and autonomously.
Previous phone and customer service skills, experience in general administration, particularly in the scheduling of jobs, handling of stock, or in the IT or Telecommunications industry will be highly regarded.
We will provide full training to the successful candidate. While we value experience, we know that it is more important to get the right person for the job so previous experience is not essential.
This role will require a person who can engage with clients and make decisions on how best to help them solve their issues and queries. They will need to be able to work well with others and oversee scheduling, customer service, stock and resources.
