About the Role:
This is a busy and varied role where you will manage administration and other office duties, including purchasing and admin accounts tasks. You will be part of a small, dedicated team committed to producing high-quality products and meeting client needs. If you thrive on variety and enjoy challenges, this role is perfect for you.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar environment
- Possess exceptional customer service skills and high attention to detail
- Be well presented
- Have previous experience in purchasing, sourcing, selecting, and negotiating the best purchase packages
- Have experience working with sub-contractors
- Preferably have experience in coordinating projects
- Be able to handle workload and pressure effectively
- Have a good working knowledge of Xero, with essential skills in Word and Excel
- Be a self-starter with high initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
- Possess strong communication skills and a high level of customer service
- Work autonomously and take responsibility for your work
- Demonstrate logical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Have advanced computer skills and accurate typing at 70 wpm (advantageous)
- Be highly motivated and able to integrate and work closely with teams
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Purchasing
- Coordinating with subcontractors and managing compliance
- Assisting in managing the document register for ISO 9001, 14001, and AS/NSZ 4801 frameworks
- Supporting the production team with stock management, machinery maintenance scheduling, updating MSDS, and coordinating pick up/delivery
- General reception duties, including greeting visitors, attending to phone calls, and filing
- Data Entry
- Helping with the implementation of stock control and a new ERP system
- Any ad-hoc administration duties
