An opportunity has arisen for a professional, reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist / Data Entry Administrator to join the team of the Region’s leading Engineering business.
The successful candidate’s key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Answering / directing all incoming calls and taking messages
- Meeting / greeting clients and suppliers at reception
- Data Entry – Processing sales, time sheets and purchase orders
- Management of job costing system
- Developing and maintaining databases, filing systems, vehicle, clothing and insurance registers
- Providing administrative support to Management and fellow team members
- Procurement of safety uniforms for staff
- Booking accommodation and flights for staff travel
Experience in the engineering / construction industry is advantageous but not essential, however the following skills are required:
- Outstanding customer service skills with a polite and friendly phone manner
- Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills
- Demonstrated ability of accurate Data Entry
- Strong computer literacy skills (experience in MS Office essential)
- High attention to detail and ability to multi task
- Reliable and self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Professional personal presentation
