An exciting and rewarding position exists within the Support Team of our growing National Accounting, Business, and Financial Services firm for a Receptionist to join our team to support the expansion and growth of the organisation.
Our office hours are 8:45am to 5:15pm Monday to Friday (with 1-hour lunch) based out of the Sydney CBD office, located on York Street above Wynyard Train Station.
The Purpose of the Position
The role provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and assist with client services.
The Role
In this role, your duties will include:
- Front Desk Management: Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude. Announce clients as necessary.
- Communication Handling: Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material.
- Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying. Manage income and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Client Services: Update client records in the firm’s database, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
- Meeting Coordination: Prepare boardrooms for meetings and arrange refreshments as needed.
- Billing and Lodgements: Assist with billing processes and coordinate lodgements as required
- Corporate Registers: Assist with the collation of new corporate registers for new companies, trusts and SMSFs
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Receptionist who is a reliable, motivated, and well-presented individual who has a mature and proactive approach to work.

Your Skills
The successful applicant will need to have:
- Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar client service role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Professional attitude
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Customer service attitude
Extensive on-the-job training will be provided.
