The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Receptionist on a temporary basis at our Naval Base Branch.
This position is Monday – Friday for approximately 5 hours per day (7.30am – 12.30pm or 8am to 1pm).
The position will start 27 February and will be until approximately mid-July.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Executive Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
- First point of contact for enquiries at the front desk, including incoming phone calls and assisting visitors to sign in.
- Distribution of incoming mail and posting of outgoing mail.
- Coordinate all site facility maintenance (Building repairs, Cleaning etc.) and organise contractors as required.
- Provide support to the purchasing team to manage and order all company uniforms.
- Raise purchase requisitions as required.
- Coordinate all staff internal functions including Morning Teas, Monthly BBQs, Executives lunches etc.
- Preparation and coordination for internal and external meetings including managing meeting room calendars and setup of meeting rooms.
- Provide any other administrative support as directed by the Purchasing Manager and Executive Team. You can leave this one in
- Update all site notice boards in conjunction with safety and other departments as required.
About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
- Customer service focus, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a Reception role
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Experience using Microsoft suite, Pronto experience beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, both written and verbal.
