About the role
We are currently looking for receptionists to join our team at Key Health.
We are looking for someone who is willing to work between clinics and who can work with a team to provide quality customer service. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to all our locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Medical administrative duties including greeting patients, organising appointments, answering phone calls, attending to patient enquiries, managing emails, scanning and filing records and results, patient recalls and reminders
- Patient screening and triage
- Assisting medical practitioners at the practice with daily administrative tasks including sending patients information, following up on results, liasing with other medical professionals
- General cleaning duties to ensure practice cleanliness is maintained
- Maintaining organisation and procedure at the practice
- General payment duties including taking payments using TYRO and HICAPS, batching medicare claims, reconciling banking each day
- Maintaining infection control and cold chain according to company's policies and procedures
- Opening and/or closing of the practice (Shift hours can be anywhere between 7:30am – 5:30pm)
About you – What are we looking for?
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong customer service ethos
- Willing to work as part of a team, learn from colleagues and provide suggestions on possible improvements
- Good organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at a time
- Previous experience in administration and/or customer service
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist (not required – happy to provide training to the right candidate)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong computer and software literacy
