The role
The Records Management Coordinator is part of the Operations group, providing a high standard of service and support to our clients and professional staff. Your passion is for all things organised, which will ensure accurate and orderly archiving of the firm's files and the handling of safe custody.
The role is full-time, in-office and for a six-month contract.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- coordination of archiving and safe custody in compliance with QLS recommendations
- collection and archiving of physical and electronic files
- maintaining databases and running reports for general enquiries & projects
- providing services to facilitate access to original stored documents if required
- overview, tracking and filing maintenance of the team email inbox
- liaise with vendors at a service level
- assist with in-house training (archiving & safe custody) and new clerk training
About you
To be successful, you are:
- attentive to detail and and an effective communicator
- able to work co-operatively with other team members but also independently
- have intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills
- able to learn and understand legal information
- able to learn, understand and use internal and external databases (Affinity, Filemaker Pro, Offsite Storage Provider)
