Records Management Coordinator
Our client is a national, corporate law firm who are seeking an experienced Legal Records Coordinator to assist them in their Brisbane office on a temporary basis. This is a full-time temporary role and has the potential to extend.
The Role:
As the Records Management Coordinator you will oversee a small team and coordinate the day-to-day activities and workflow of the Records Management team. Your duties may include:
- Inbox and file management
- Provide training and support to new administrative and support staff
- Review and action weekly and monthly reports and statements
- Regularly investigate and resolve any processing or data integrity issues
- Liaise with senior members of team regarding weekly status reports
- Delegate work, ensure timelines are met and supervise ad hoc complex projects
- Liaise with offsite vendors and 3rd parties including storage providers
- Gather information and coordinate safe custody requirements
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience within the legal industry managing high volumes of files/records. Prior management/delegation experience is also highly desired. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the below skills and attributes:
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines
- Strong IT proficiency and experience using MS Suite. Good working knowledge of Affinity will be highly regarded
