Job description
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) represents the State of Queensland in criminal cases. The ODPP's significant responsibility is to prosecute criminal matters in the High Court of Australia, Court of Appeal (Qld), Supreme Court, Mental Health Court, District Court, the Childrens Court of Queensland and the Magistrates Court (in limited locations and matters).
The DNA File Review Project team has been established for the purpose of responding to the recommendations from the Queensland Government's Commission of Inquiry into Forensic DNA Testing in Queensland, as they relate to the work of the ODPP.
About your opportunity:The role of Records Officer is integral to the success of the project, through the provision of administrative support to locate records, retrieve archived records and facilitate the preparation of new/additional case files and records.Successful candidates for this role will be a team player who can demonstrate:- Strong administration skills and experience - including high levels of computer literacy.- Time management and organisational skills.- High calibre communication skills and ethics.
