Due to growth within our company, we are seeking a motivated Recoveries Specialist to come on board and join our supportive, collaborative and hardworking team! Ideally you will come from a similar role and will have experience in areas such as loss adjusting, property or motor claims recoveries.
Day to day duties of the role will include:
- End to end management of recoveries matters within a portfolio of claims;
- Communicate with all stakeholders (internal and external) effectively and efficiently;
- Negotiate the recovery of claims (both insured and uninsured);
- Investigation of third parties whereabouts;
- Focus on the timely recovery of monies whilst at the same time maximising the recovery potential;
- Ensure the appropriate recording of work via relevant systems and processes;
- Ad-hoc administration and other team support as required.
- Ideally 1-2 years' experience in a claims or similar role (not essential);
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills;
- Strong negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communications;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- Knowledge of legal and court processes;
- Intermediate PC skills.
