Recruitment Consultant - Contracting

Kinexus is a specialist recruiter into the Defence and Federal government space. We have been recruiting technical engineering and ICT staff in Australia for over 20 years providing staff who have an influence on influential projects.

Given our background in Defence Kinexus are in a unique position to provide people for projects at clients all over Australia. The Defence market is undergoing a transitional period which has presented opportunity and challenges alike. We are looking to add to our experienced team in our head office in Sydney's CBD as we gear up for the opportunities the change will present.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a 360 contract recruiter who will work the ICT market across NSW, ACT and QLD. This person will work with a mix of existing clients and help to develop new clients in adjacent industries who would benefit from the type of people we recruit.

The role will include:

• Sourcing and connecting with ICT professionals
• Business development
• Identifying opportunities to connect with Security cleared, technical candidates across ICT and Cyber domains
• Developing long-term relationships with clients and candidates
• Developing a strong social presence

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year recruitment agency would be ideal
• An appreciation of ICT technologies
• An outcome driven person who can work in a team as well as using their own initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to connect with a broad range of people
• A go getting attitude

TRAINING

We have a dedicated team who work to develop everyone's skills whether they come to us with recruitment experience or not. We work in a complex industry where we are constantly learning….including our management team!
