Our centralised shared services team, MWG Mining are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant in the blue-collar mining sector for a 12-month maternity leave contract.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant with proven experience in the blue-collar mining sector to work directly for us. This role will be working across the MWG Mining Group working on various roles within the Australian mining industry.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Recruitment of Blue Collar roles for the mining industry across Australia including coal, iron ore, gold, lithium and nickel projects.
- Candidate talent pooling, phone screening, interviewing and reference checking candidates.
- Deliver accurate and timely recruitment information, support, feedback and advice to Management.
Skills and Attributes:
- Prior experience recruiting blue-collar roles within the mining industry.
- Strong work ethic & helpful, nurturing attitude towards dealing with all people.
- Superb attention to detail, managing and tracking the progress of multiple roles and candidates.
- Proactive searching & sourcing, shortlisting & screening methods.
- Exposure to various Recruitment Management Systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence Managers, clients and candidates.
- Experience in contacting and securing passive candidates for key roles.
