We have an opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our volunteer engagement team. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract role based at our Pier Street office in Perth with flexible working opportunities available.
- This position is 0.6FTE (working 22.8 hours per week)
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the preferred work days; however Monday, Tuesday and Friday would also be an option for the successful applicant
About the role
Reporting to the Manager Volunteer Services, the Recruitment Coordinator – Volunteers is responsible for coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, to ensure timely recruitment and matching of volunteers who fit Bethanie’s culture to enrich the ageing journey of Bethanie’s community and residential aged care customers.
This role is responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service and coordinating new recruitment processes to: field volunteer requests from Bethanie sites and staff; post job adverts; process incoming applicants; conduct interviews and reference checks; coordinate screening; arrange offers; maintain records; and coordinate both onboarding and offboarding procedures.
About you
You’re passionate about the value that volunteering has to offer and enjoy the variety that working in recruitment brings to a day at the office! You will also bring:
- Experience as a Recruitment Coordinator, ideally with some exposure in volunteering recruitment is preferred but not essential
- Hands-on experience with various recruitment tools and the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
- The ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills and a strong eye for detail
