The opportunity:
Labourpower is seeking a highly motivated and experienced blue collar Recruitment Team Leader to lead our Derrimut team while servicing a portfolio of clients in the Melbourne area. This position is based in our Derrimut Office.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Lead, guide and mentor the recruiting consultants and resourcing consultants in the branch
- Book site inductions for candidates
- Use our recruitment database and rostering system to enter candidate information
- Ensuring all administration is accurate and up to date
- Establishing and building on relationships with our clients
- Being present on-site to carry out inductions and risk assessments as required
- Ensure your team is compliant and working with our high safety processes and standards
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in leading a team
- A proactive and energetic approach to your work
- Experience in FastTrack360 (preferred)
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to multi-task in this exciting high volume environment
- Intermediate to advanced computer and MS office skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
- Willingness to do early morning starts when required to carry out inductions
