The Western Success Team within the Office of Student Experience and Marketing is seeking a full-time Western SuccessTeam Leader to join the team located at the Penrith campus until 31 December 2024.
About the Team
The aim of Western Success is to connect students with advisors who will provide guidance that is ‘just in time’, ‘just enough’ and ‘just for them’ to empower them to succeed in higher education. Research indicates students are more likely to persist and succeed if they engage with studies and University life, and that peer-to-peer engagement is a valuable source of support.
This energetic team are passionate about the Student Experience. As part of SEM, you will be part of and contribute to an efficient and collaborative team where day to day practice and work is driven by our articulated values.
About the Role
The Western SuccessTeam Leader is responsible for monitoring the provision of high levels of customer service delivered by Western Success Advisors, and the smooth daily operation of all services across multiple engagements and channels. The position supports the Program Coordinator, Western Success in the implementation of quality assurance and continuous improvement processes as well as monitoring staff development and training programs.
This is a full-time, fixed term position until 31 December 2024 based at the Penrith campus.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have strong institutional knowledge and exceptional communication skills to best support a young and dynamic team of Advisors. Applicants must be prepared to provide leadership and coaching to a diverse student body in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a contact centre or similar and with information management systems will be highly regarded.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 5 $94,265 to $106,603 p.a. (comprising Salary of $79,655 to $90,081 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading).
