Reporting to the Provost, the Dean, School of Business is part of the executive leadership of WSU and leads of School of 4000 student EFTSL with a team of 100 ongoing and fixed term staff.

About the Position
We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Dean, School of Business. You will collaborate with key University stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and lead a dedicated team, aligning financial and staff resources with the School’s priorities.
This is a Full-time, Fixed term position until 10 December 2026 based at Parramatta City Campus 1PSQ
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the School’s external engagement with community, industry, professional bodies, and international partners.
· Make distinguished contributions to scholarship, research, and teaching.
· Provide strategic management of resources, planning, and positioning of the School within the University and beyond.
· Foster a constructive and inspiring environment for staff and students.
· Develop the School’s educational, research, and international standing and profile.
About You
· Doctoral qualification with extensive leadership experience.
· Internationally recognised research record or exceptional strategic and managerial achievement.
· Expertise in professional and industry trends relevant to the School.
· Proven experience in promoting excellence in learning, research, and work environment.
· Strategic management skills in finances, staff, and facilities within a complex organisation.
· Strong leadership ability to inspire and influence staff and students.
· Comprehensive understanding of the broader legislative, national, and international context of higher education in business.
