How We Make an Impact
Recovery Station provides community and clinic based allied health services, with a strong focus on disability and senior health. For nearly 20 years we have consistently grown and now proudly offer support to people with diverse needs across the Greater Hunter, Central Coast, Sydney and Illawarra regions.
Together, our passionate, multidisciplinary team of OTs, Mental Health OT’s, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants collaboratively share their knowledge and experience to holistically design an individualised service to help improve the quality of life for people living with a disability or looking to age as independently as possible.
The Role
The purpose of the Client Services Coordinator role is to foster relationships with our referral partners and coordinate referrals for Recovery Station’s services in an efficient and timely manner. The CSC requires a strong understanding of the clinical needs and goals of the new client and will facilitate allocating them to the appropriate clinician in our team to ensure a smooth transition into therapy services.
As the first point of contact this is an integral role and requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills along with great attention to detail. The CSC is pivotal in developing strong relationships with clients, referral partners and internal stakeholders.
The CSC plays a frontline role in delivering and maintaining outstanding client and referrer experience.
Your day to day includes:
- Taking phone and web referrals an inquiries regarding our services
- Matching client needs to Recovery Stations service offering and clinician availability, skills and experience
- Demonstrate high level customer service as you communicate externally with clients and referring partners and internally with clinicians and the heads of each discipline
- Facilitate all funding plans, referrals documents and conduct home-visit safety checks
- Maintain our databases, spreadsheets and reports
- Project work and assisiting with marketing campaigns may arise as well as the opportuinity to attend expos and events to build and nurture relationships with our referrers

About You
To be successful within this role you will possess a combination of the following criteria:
- Genuine empathy and interest in making a difference in the lives of the elderly and those living with a disability
- Excellent customer service, multitasking, relationship-building and organisational skills
- An enjoyment of speaking with clients and a desire to optimise their experience in working with us
- Experience in the disability (NDIS) or aged care sector would be advantageous. This position would suit a disability support coordinator, administrator or scheduler looking for a change
- Must be available for a full-time position (Monday - Friday)
- Intermediate computer skills with the capability to learn new systems and navigate between spreadsheets
