About the Opportunity at Legrand

An amazing opportunity has become available for an ambitious Regional BDM to join our Trade Sales team in QLD. In this role, you will be responsible increasing the sales of our products from Wholesale Channel Partners, Electrical Contractors and End Users.

This role will report to the State Manager QLD, with duties that include:

  • developing and expanding sales with Wholesale Channel Partners, Electrical Contractors and End Users within your specified region
  • establishing and maintaining regular call cycles and working to a call plan
  • identifying and researching potential projects within your region
  • providing training on Legrand products and collaborating with management to establish and execute a sales goal for the region
  • maximizing sales revenue and meeting or exceeding corporate-set goals
  • forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals
  • developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term
  • communicating and ensuring sales practice is understood within the business
  • establishing and maintaining regular call cycles and working to a call plan
  • building relationships with Legrand stakeholders
  • educating customers with presentations, seminars and regular meetings

About You

To be successful in this role you must have experience managing long-term business relationships and working in the Electrical Industry preferred. You will also have:

  • appropriate technical qualifications
  • sales and account management ability
  • product & technical knowledge
  • strong communication and influencing skills
  • technical ability required to analyse data and plan accordingly
  • ability to identify and drive opportunities
  • time management - being able to control daily / weekly and monthly activities
  • computer literacy
  • customer relationship skills
  • self-motivated and achievement oriented
  • current Drivers License
