About the position
As the Regional Director for Operations and Implementation, you will lead the coordination and Implementation of department-wide strategic initiatives, including the youth reform package to drive improved early childhood and student outcomes.
You will build and sustain relationships internally across the department, across government, and with key stakeholders to identify customer needs and demands. You will be responsible for providing direction to the operations of the department at the regional level to enable effective and efficient implementation of high-quality services and the delivery of planned outcomes in line with the department's vision, values and strategic direction.
About the person
As the Regional Director, Operations and Implementation, you will:
- Hold strong professional leadership and management capabilities with an ability to lead and manage the implementation of regional service delivery in alignment with government priories.
- Display excellence in client service delivery, providing high-level leadership particularly by working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Play a key part in ensuring there is a consistent performance and governance framework across the department's stretgic delivery, including youth reform service delivery streams to enhance standards of service delivery.
The role will require some intrastate travel as the department seeks to engage closely with the community that it serves.
More specifically you will demonstrate the executive leadership competencies for executives in the Queensland Public Sector Leadership competencies for Queensland.
