A bit about the role…
The primary purpose of this position is to develop, manage and oversee the successful delivery of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) – Transition Support Services for ADF members; promote and develop high performance through effective team management, ensuring jobseekers, clients and stakeholders receive quality service provision, and to ensure that BUSY At Work exceeds the Commonwealth Strategic Performance Measures, System Health Indicators and contractual obligations.
This role is permanent full time, office based in the Sydney region with travel state wide when required.

About you…
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with job seekers and employers and other stakeholders
- Five years in a management position are preferred with demonstrated experience in leading leaders
- Ability to respond effectively to behaviours of concern, dealing with conflict or mental health issues
- Previous experience in a careers advisory role is essential, preferably including skills with defence personnel
- Well-developed interpersonal skills (including building rapport, listening and interviewing), and ability to research and write clear Career Plans
- Must have one of the following:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the employment services industry or community services sector;
- Qualification in Leadership and Management or Similar tertiary qualifications;
- Demonstrated ability to lead government issued contracts successfully to a high standard, with public results available.
- Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
- Open drivers licence
