Regional Sales Manager NSW & QLD
Work Location: NSW
Based in Sydney, this role reports directly to the National Sales Manager and requires a self-starter with an understanding of value proposition, a passion to win mentality and refined leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain and develop existing/new B2B business relationships within New South Wales and Queensland, which will deliver sustainable volume and margin growth across the retail accounts with the focus on Passenger & Light Truck Tyres (PLT) product. You will also be responsible to manage a team of sales professionals and provide leadership, support and retail strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the growth of existing business through a professional management approach clearly focused on meeting customer needs, whilst delivering sustainable business and margin growth in the strategic channels managed by the Sales Team
- Increasing Continental's market share in NSW & QLD with the core range of Continental's product portfolio
- Support development of new business in all customer channels
- Develop a clear understanding of the product portfolio that applies to all customers within each customer channel.
- Focus and be organized to achieve KPI’s (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
- Provide market intelligence around pricing, product, forecasting and planning to the management team regarding the Australian tyre market, in particular New South Wales and Queensland.
- Work with internal stakeholders to support new product requirements and launches.
- Support direct reports by presenting and training customers on our product and how to achieve business growth with our brand
- Prepare monthly business / department reports on sales status, performance and solutions/plan.
- Provide the inspiration, vision and strategy for key accounts to remain at the forefront of the industry.
- Conduct ongoing sales performance reviews with key customers to ensure sustainable growth targets are achieved as per agreed business plans.
- Support the Car Dealer Channel Manager in the New South Wales and Queensland region through the delivery of the Car Dealer channel activities and the Car Dealer growth strategy.
- Support the National Sales Manager through the joint delivery of all Retail activities and the Retail channel growth strategy.
Job Requirements
- 5-years min relevant sales experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in leading people
- Display computer literacy and ability to produce and analyse reports, data and customer trends in order to develop and execute sustainable growth plans
- Ability to travel regularly interstate
- University degree in Business Management is preferred.
