We are currently seeking a dynamic professional Regional Manager to be based out of our Bennetts Green Workshop to oversee the workshop and all Industrial Sites & Projects within the Industrials South regions of Macquarie and Hunter Valley within NSW. This role will see you joining a rapidly expanding industry leader whilst also providing you with the opportunity to enhance and grow the portfolio.
About the role
· Establish and implement strategic directions agreed with the Operations Manager for development and growth.
· Contract Management is a high focus in this role where you will be required to own the client relationships for the Industrials South Remit, including but not limited to clients such as Orica, Delta, Origin and AGL for Outages/Shutdowns, maintenance and upgrades and also the manufacturing Workshop clients.
· Business development activities and the effective delivery of tenders.
· Provide leadership, direction, supervision, and inspirational management to all team members (direct & indirect).
· Coach and mentor all direct reports on all aspects of their role, facilitating effective co-operation and trust, encouraging the free exchange for information, ideas and techniques between the various operations teams, leading and motivating them to be aligned to the same team goals and business objectives.
About You
· Trade, Engineering, Business or Project Management Qualification.
· Extensive experience in leading large teams across a significant regional multi-site portfolio.
· Experience with Asset management and heavy industrial maintenance is highly desirable.
· Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment.
· Ability to work under pressure, to tight timeframes as part of a core management team.
· Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
