Bob Jane T-Marts has a great opportunity available for an experienced Regional Manager to join the Victorian State Team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Regional Manager will oversee a portfolio of stores located at various locations around VIC. Reporting to the State Manager, you will help to drive and improve the performance of our Company and Franchise network of T-Marts in accordance with company policy and strategy to achieve growth and improved market share.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Executing company strategies across stores
- Achieving business outcomes across your area by providing leadership and guidance to retail stores team members
- Maximising revenue growth and effective management of all controllable expenses
- Strong sales leadership, coaching and development of all franchisees and Store managers
- Setting appropriate sales and profit targets for all stores across your area
- Ensuring superior customer service is provided in all stores across your area
- Working with key tyre and wheel suppliers and develop mutually beneficial relationships with relevant representatives
- Complying with company and government legislated OH&S standards
- Forecasting and budgeting.
- Participating in the BJC Performance Appraisal process with your team and demonstrate a commitment to the continual development of talent
- Demonstrating leadership by identifying opportunities, integrating and implementing safety strategies into the business planning and operations
- Developing plans to ensure implementation of systems to improve safety awareness in the workplace
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
We are looking for someone with the following skills, experience & attributes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management experience in a multi-site capacity.
- Experience in the preparation and execution and management of financial budgets
- Supervision and leadership of a team
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Sound knowledge and adherence to OH&S practices
- A current driver’s licence - Essential
- Have a genuine interest in the industry
- Willing to undertake ongoing training and development
- A background in tyre, automotive, mechanical or similar industries would be highly regarded
- Appropriate Australian working rights
