About the Role
The Regional Operations Manager will ensure the successful operation and delivery of service to the residents within the framework and guidance of Homestyle's policy and procedure; ensuring high quality services promoting the quality of life for residents are provided, whilst maintaining optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role oversees 5 Homestyle locations with travel to Point Cook, Tarneit, Geelong and Ocean Grove.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating with the Group General Manager and CEO and participating in the strategic, business, marketing and operational planning for the organisation
Participating in the budget development process along with managing the budget throughout the year
Analysing data, identifying improvement opportunities and developing strategies along with the Directors of Nursing and Group General Manager
Maintaining accurate knowledge of laws, regulations and ethics relating to position responsibilities and reflecting these in practice
Working with service and quality team for completion and submission of the Accreditation self-assessment kit; monitoring of compliance to the Aged Care Standards; participating in any unannounced accreditation visit to provide support and participate in interviews with ACQSC representatives as required
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a health related field
Previous management experience in aged care
Thorough understanding of aged care quality standards
Thorough understanding of AN-ACC
Senior level clinical skills and experience
Current Victorian driver's licence
Current police check (or willing to obtain)
Vaccination certificate
