About The Role: As our new Regional Technical Support, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence across our South Australian workshops. Benefits: Long-term employment with career development and progression Work-life balance Attractive salary package based on experience and skills Supplied and laundered uniforms Modern workshops with diagnostic equipment A friendly team-based working environment Access to a wide range of employee benefits Key Responsibilities: Support workshop team leaders in all locations with the diagnosis of Mercedes Benz, Freightliner and Fuso Trucks in a timely manner Identify skills gaps for key areas and build training programs to improve capability Partner with suppliers to coordinate training as required Work with Velocity Truck Centres training department to deliver training Implement work practices in line with skills development while monitoring and reviewing embedded processes Ensure development of Apprentices are in line with company and industry expectations Requirements: Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician with sound knowledge of service department operations Understanding of products and services necessary to perform duties and tasks as a Heavy Vehicle Technician Strong knowledge in repair and maintenance concepts, troubleshooting, repair methods, vehicle technical aspects, tools, and equipment Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology – AUR31116 or equivalent Cert IV training certificate (highly desirable) About Us:Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) has just celebrated 25 years in operation and is Daimler Trucks largest truck dealership group globally.
